Call for Applications – Creation Lab III

On Screen ManitobaNew Media Manitoba, the National Film Board and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) partner to produce Creation Lab III from Friday, January 26 to Sunday, January 28, 2018, with an opening reception taking place the evening of Thursday, January 25.Creation Lab III will be facilitated by Alexandra Zaccaria, a creative director and multimedia experiential designer, who lives and works in the NYC metropolitan area.

Up to five teams of creators with backgrounds in visual arts, music, film, television, interactive and immersive digital media will be selected for the three-day accelerator. Each team will create a prototype for a digital media experience based on themes specific to human rights.

Apply as a content creator, musician, designer or developer for the three-day Creation Lab. Through a collaborative process, you will use immersive and interactive technologies to tell a story about human rights. Content can be produced in either French and English. Creation Lab 2017 Faciliator

Alexandra Zaccaria is a creative director and multimedia experiential designer, who lives and works in the NYC metropolitan area. Over the last 10 years, her driving passion for innovation, technology and design have led her to a diverse spectrum of creative projects. Her work in production design, interactive product development and exhibit display, as well as print, broadcast and digital campaigns for leading and emerging brands have reached audiences across the globe. With expert level skills in collaborative communication and creative problem solving, Alexandra’s biggest thrill comes from visual storytelling.
