Creative Export Strategy for Creative Industries

June 29, 2018

Minister Mélanie Joly, along with the Ministers of International Trade and Foreign Affairs, announced Canada’s new Creative Export Strategy for Creative Industries. The investment of $125 million over 5 years will be divided into three key pillars to: 1) boost export funding in existing Canadian Heritage programs; 2) increase and strengthen the presence of Canadian creative industries abroad; and 3) establish Creative Export Canada, a new creative export funding program to help companies and organizations connect Canadian creators with buyers and audiences in the global market.
