Are you an emerging writer/filmmaker/producer who is planning to attend All Access 2019 and pitch documentaries, scripted projects or feature films?
Develop your capacity to pitch and identify who is likely to be most interested in each of your concepts through groups sessions and tailored one-on-one meetings with development consultant Brandice Vivier. This three-part program will help participants prepare for various upcoming pitching opportunities at All Access, Telefilm Canada Talent to Watch and the RBC $10,000 Emerging Filmmaker Competition at the Gimli Film Festival.
Prepare for a market or pitch opportunity:
– Research the firsts/competition to identify opportunities to pitch your web series, documentary, factual and fiction shows
How to prepare a pitch for various opportunities (written and verbal):
– Prepare a written pitch and receive feedback
– Practice live pitching
Part One – Getting Ready to Pitch
Friday, December 7, 12:00 – 1:30 PM (location TBD)
Note: Participants must attend this session to access one-on-one meetings
Overview of pitching basics and the workflow for this hands-on coaching program. Immediately following the session, participants will have the opportunity to meet with Brandice Vivier one-on-one to discuss their projects and objectives. One-on-one meetings take place between 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm on December 7.
Part Two – Present Your Written Pitch (2nd round of one-on-one meetings)
Monday, December 17
Follow-up meetings with Brandice Vivier to review written pitch and discuss plans for All Access.
Part Three – Practice Your Live Pitch (group session)
Tuesday, January 8, 6:00 – 8:30 PM
Live pitch with coaching by Brandice Vivier.
Registration Fee: $150 + GST for OSM members

Participants may cancel up to two full business days prior to the event start date to receive a 75% refund. No refund will be given to participants who cancel within two business days of the event start date, or if they do not attend the event. On Screen Manitoba reserves the right to cancel, or postpone, any event where a minimum registration level has not been met. Participants registered for an event that is canceled will receive a full refund.
