Gimli Film Festival has launched The Manitoba Project

September 9, 2019

The Gimli Film Festival has announced The Manitoba Project.

Included in the project is a film production fund that will commission approximately six to eight emerging and established filmmakers currently living in Manitoba to create new works that celebrate, reflect upon and reconcile Manitoba’s past, present and/or future as part of GFF’s 20th anniversary and Manitoba’s 150th anniversary. The fund will offer grants to Manitoba-based filmmakers worth $5,000 to $10,000.
