Joly urged to reconsider allocated funding of We Are Canada

The Globe and Mail reported this week that bureaucrats were urging Heritage Minister Mélanie Joly to reconsider her decision to provide half of the $1-million requested for CBC’s We Are Canada series from the Canada 150 Fund. Les Productions Rivard’s La Grande Traversée was mentioned in the article among other projects that received federal Canada 150 funding.
