The Media Technology Monitor (MTM) has released a new report today about the state of TV consumption. At least three quarters of Canadians Anglophones are still paying for a paid TV service, with the cable still having the largest share. The cord cutting phenomenon has continued steadily reducing the number of cable subscribers and the share of IPTV users is seeing a slow growth. The study did not report on the SVOD and VOD subscribers in Canada. See the Playback Daily article for more information.
