The NSI Aboriginal Documentary course launched in 2012. The course provides up to four Aboriginal director and producer teams with training, mentorship and up to $16,000 in cash towards the production of a short documentary. Teams also attend the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.
“RBC is a longtime supporter of our Aboriginal training courses,” said John Gill, NSI CEO. “We’re thrilled to welcome them as a program partner to our NSI Aboriginal Documentary course as we launch it nationally.”
“Like NSI, RBC believes in the power of the arts to enrich our lives and enhance our communities,” said Glenn Crook, VP Commercial Financial Services, RBC. “We’re pleased to support the NSI Aboriginal Documentary course and help young Aboriginal filmmakers take their careers to the next level.”
The call for applications opens Monday, September 23, 2013.
