OSM members receive nominations and Golden Sheaf Awards at Yorkton Film Festival

Indictment: The Crimes of Shelly Chartier, produced by OSM members Frantic Films and Frank Digital was nominated for the Indigenous Award at the Yorkton Film Festival. “Nereo”, the Season 2 finale of Handcrafted, directed by Andrew Wiens and produced by Andrew Wiens and Sam Karney of OSM member Ice River Films was nominated for the Multicultural and Short Subject (Non-Fiction) Awards. Talking at Night, produced by Jon Montes of the NFB won take the Ruth Shaw Best of Saskatchewan Award. Kid Diners, produced by Farpoint Films, was nominated for the Children’s and Youth Production Award. Manitoba Barns: Our Hometown Rinks, produced by Joy Loewen, was nominated for the Documentary Series Award. Losing Our Religion, directed and produced by Leslea Mair and Leif Kaldor of Zoot Pictures won the Documentary Social/Political Award. See all Golden Sheaf nominees and awards here.
