Ken Janssens is a produced television and award-nominated feature film screenwriter, a published novelist, a produced playwright, a produced radio playwright, a two-time award-nominated prose writer, and a published comic book writer. His feature film “The Return” (which received the Telefilm Canada – Talent to Watch grant) starring Richard Harmon from “The 100” is an official selection in five American film festivals, won Best Feature at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival, and was nominated for Best Screenplay at its world premiere at the Horrible Imaginings Film Festival. His television dramedy pilot “Regular Haunts” aired on Shaw TV. He advanced to the top ten percent of the 2013 and 2015 Austin Film Festival screenplay competition for his original TV pilots “Hindsight” (drama) and “Boniface Boys” (comedy), and is a semifinalist in the Legion M Pitch Elevator contest. He has also worked as a writer/producer/director for Global Television.
