A new Media Technology Monitor report found that half of Canadians consume a balance of traditional and digital media. New viewer profiles labeled as Traditionals, Testers and Have-It-Alls identify that 28% of Canadians consume 90% or more media through traditional platforms, versus 59% in 2011. Online First is the fastest growing segment, as it doubled in size from 6% in 2011 to 24% in 2019. See the Playback article (paywall) and the report for more information.
