October 29, 2018

Rina Fraticelli, Women In View’s co-founder and former director, will receive a Governor General’s Award in the Commemoration of the Persons Case, honouring Canadians who advance gender equality. With WIV, she authored five influential reports (with the sixth about to be released) tracking the employment of women in publicly-funded Canadian media. Fraticelli is now Director of The Socrates Project, McMaster University’s new forum for artists, scholars and the wider community to engage with the critical issues of our time.
